100 native tree species — selected for ecological compatibility with the local bioregion — were planted in degraded industrial buffer zones and barren corridors. Species selection prioritised those that support native fauna, resist local pest pressures, and contribute to soil health restoration.
Impact: Restored ecological corridors across degraded zones; introduced canopy architecture that will support native bird and insect populations within 2–3 growing seasons.

Workshop
A hands-on community workshop where adults and children together hand-rolled 1,000 micro-ecosystem seedballs — a technique pioneered by Masanobu Fukuoka — using native seeds, clay, compost, and protective organic binders. The seedballs were subsequently deployed across identified barren and ecologically fractured land patches.
Impact: 1,000 native-seed micro-ecosystems seeded without mechanical intervention; participants developed hands-on ecological competency and reported increased personal ecological agency.
